Card Preauthorization
We require a credit or debit card be provided upon check in for the remaining balance of you room and also for authorization of incidentals. If it’s an option for you, we recommend supplying a credit card, as debit card preauthorizations may take 5 to 7 business days to be released depending on the policies of your financial intuition.
Lodging Check-In & Check-Out
Check in begins at 3pm. Check out is at 11am.
When checking in at Guest Services, we ask that you please leave luggage inside your vehicle until directed to your room. Lodging is dispersed across the resort and driving to a parking space adjacent to your room will allow more convenient unloading.
Our apologies, but at this time, we are not able to accommodate early check in. We are often able to offer late check out until noon, by request.
This is to provide our housekeeping team with the time needed to adhere here to our NM Safe Certified sanitizing and cleaning procedures.
Lodging guests have unfettered access to our communal soaking pools from 7:30am – 10:00pm. This includes day of check-in (before 3pm) and check-out (after 11am).

What to Pack for NM Weather
We recommend bringing the following: swimwear, sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, sandals, water bottle and comfortable walking shoes.
Note that weather can change suddenly in the high desert, and we can unexpectedly receive monsoon rain, snow, high/low temperatures and wind. We suggest packing layered clothing in every season.
Our guest rooms come stocked with two signature Ojo robes and towels are available at our pools. Our spa boutique offers an array of items for purchase, often including premium skincare products, swimsuits, sandals, snacks and beverages and more.
Electric Vehicles
We do not have charging stations and recommend guests come charged up.

Your Health & Wellbeing
High Altitude
Ojo Santa Fe is located amidst Northern New Mexico’s dry climate and our spa resort sits at close to 7,000 feet. As such, we recommend guests take care to:
- Stay hydrated
- Consider consuming caffeine and alcohol in moderation
- Get plenty of rest
We have found these precautions tend to help guests get the most out of enjoying our high elevation, high desert spa resort
Dark Nights
Thanks to minimal light pollution, New Mexico is known for its dark skies—perfect for star-gazing. Around our sprawling spa resort, you will find that our grounds are dimly lit in order to help preserve a natural and relaxing environment. When navigating the resort after the sun goes down, please consider using the flashlight provided in your guest room.
