Seize the moment at Ojo Caliente, where between soaking sessions you can stretch your way to a soul-soothing experience. Breathe new life into your practice—or try yoga for the first time—with expertly guided, all-levels-welcome yoga classes. Our small-group sessions include a variety of styles, including nidra, hatha, and more. Each class takes place in our beautiful Yoga Yurt.

Our Northern New Mexico hot springs resort is also the perfect yoga retreat venue. Try our mini yoga retreats or inquire about hosting your own yoga wellness retreat at Ojo Caliente.

All classes are held in the yoga yurt located on the east side of the property behind Casa de Ojo.
Pre-registration is required at the front desk for the 12:30pm Yoga Flow class only.
Space is limited and all classes are first come, first serve.

Mindful Morning Yoga

Breathe new life into your practice – or try yoga for the first time – with our expertly guided, all-levels-welcome group yoga class. Includes a variety of styles, including nidra, hatha, and more.

Choose between two 75-min sessions | 9:00am or 10:45am

*Available for Lodging Guests Only. Please arrive a few minutes early at the Yoga Yurt. Space is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis. One complimentary class per day, per lodging guest.

Yoga Flow Class

Customized to the skill-level of attendees, a combination of breathwork, asana, alignment, and meditation encourages practitioners to let go of thought and connect in the present moment.

90-min Session: 12:30pm daily 

$25 per person

Yoga Workshops

Yoga for Radiance
& Vitality After 40

August 17th, 2024 | 4:30 – 7:00pm
Instructor: Sonya Luz

This uplifting yoga workshop focuses on strengthening movements for bone density and muscle tone. Breathing techniques and postures will promote hormonal balance. Facial fitness, and self-massage firms and lifts your beautiful face. Meditation for embracing and honoring life transitions, and deep relaxation to promote restful sleep habits will be incorporated as well.

Yoga Mini-Rituals

September 15, 2024 | 10:00am – noon
Instructors: Julie Cortopassi

Design your personal morning and evening yoga rituals; help begin your day with clarity and peace, then reset your nervous system at the end of the day for restful sleep. Participants will come away with notes to continue a new practice at home. This workshop is geared towards all levels, absolute beginners to advanced practitioners, with an emphasis on mindfulness, brevity, and well-being.

Elevate your relaxation by adding natural hot springs soaking to your spa experience. Choose from soaking in our scenic shared pools or opt to soak in seclusion in one of our private pools.

YOGA FAQ’s

Soaking

For overnight guests of our hot springs hotel and spa , soaking in our communal pools is included with your stay. Day guests can purchase a soaking pass to access communal pools from 10am – 10pm. Day passes are $45 per person Monday – Thursday, and $65 per person Friday – Sunday and on holidays. Pass includes use of locker, towel and changing rooms. Robes can be rented for $18. Registering for Classes

Daily Yoga Classes: Yoga Flow, at 12:30pm,  requires pre-registration and payment at our front desk on the day of class. We do not take advanced reservations at this time. Space is limited; all classes are first come, first serve. 

Parking & Check In

Parking at Ojo Caliente is always free. Day guests and lodging guests joining the Yoga Flow class at 12:30pm need to register and pay at the Front Desk prior to class. Lodging guests do not need to register for their free, morning yoga class. 

What to bring
  • Please arrive prepared to move, sweat, and invigorate your chakras.
  • We recommend comfortable clothing, or active wear.
  • Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. 
  • If you do not have a yoga mat, one will be loaned to you for no additional fee. 
Your Health & Wellbeing

Your health and wellbeing are our top priority. If you have any health issues that could potentially put you at risk for injury, please let your instructor know before class. Likewise, if you are feeling unwell for any reason, please refrain from attending the class.
